Solstice in Paradise explores the constant duality of human existence - light and darkness, rise and fall, pain and beauty, good and evil, masculine and feminine - not as opposites, but as one moving system in continuous tension and inner conflict. The solstice represents the point of extremity: the moment something reaches its peak and begins to transform. Just as the darkest moment of night carries the first fragile trace of sunrise, a human being can stand in deep despair while standing seconds away from change. Paradise can turn into hell, and hell can begin to turn into paradise, into light. These images capture the fragile boundary where collapse and rebirth meet.
